The process

Simple, fast, and built around you.

No long intake forms. No months-long discovery phases. You tell me about your business, I build something real, and we refine it together until it's exactly right. Here's what that actually looks like.

From first conversation to live website.

1
Start here

Tell me about your business

Reach out through the contact form or by email. Tell me what your business does, what you need the website to accomplish, and anything specific you have in mind — pages, features, examples you like. You don't need to have it all figured out. A rough idea is plenty to start.

2
Quick turnaround

I build a first version

Once I have enough to work with, I get to work. You'll see a real, working first version of your site faster than you'd expect — not a mockup or a wireframe, but actual code you can click through, on a staging URL. This gives us something concrete to react to instead of talking in the abstract.

3
Collaborative

We refine it together

You review the first version and tell me what's right and what needs to change. We go back and forth — as many rounds as it takes — until the site looks and works exactly the way you want it. Nothing launches until you're happy with it.

4
You're in control

You get the admin panel

Before we launch, I walk you through the admin panel — your private section of the site where you can update hours, post announcements, manage content, and make changes on your own schedule. No developer required after launch. No waiting on me to change a phone number.

5
Live

We launch

When you're ready, I handle the technical side of going live — pointing your domain, setting up hosting if that's part of the plan, and making sure everything works correctly on the real URL. You get a site you're proud of, and the tools to keep it up to date.

A few things people usually ask.

How long does it take?

The first version typically comes back quickly after our initial conversation — often within days, not weeks. The total timeline depends on how many revision cycles we go through and how fast you're able to review and respond. Most projects reach launch-ready within a few weeks of the first build.

What do I need to provide?

At minimum: a description of your business, what pages you need, and any logo or brand assets you have. If you have photos, great — if not, we can work around it. Copy (the words on the site) is your responsibility, but I'm happy to help shape and edit what you provide.

What if I need changes after launch?

Most day-to-day updates — hours, announcements, photos, content — you can handle yourself through the admin panel. For structural changes or new features, just reach out. I'm available for ongoing work and don't disappear after the launch call.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. The admin panel is designed for non-technical users. If you can update a Google Doc, you can run your site. I handle all the technical setup, hosting configuration, and domain management.

What does it cost?

Every project is scoped individually based on what you need. I price to be accessible to small businesses, and I'll give you a clear number before any work begins. More about how I approach pricing →

Ready to get started?

The first step is just telling me about your business. Everything else follows from there.
